The Pufferfish is one of few animals which is capable of changing its shape.

This plugin is a set of 188 components which focuses on Tweens, Blends, Morphs, Averages, Transformations, &amp; Interpolations - essentially Shape Changing. Pufferfish manily uses parameters and factors for inputs for more custom control over operations like tweens and grids as opposed to grasshoppers usual division count inputs. These components are accompanied by support components which are useful methods for the preparation of tween/blend operations such as making polylines compatible and matching surface structures. In addition, there are extra components which simplify some common grasshopper operations such as testing for equality within a tolerance and rounding to nearest numbers. Please email me if you find any bugs to help make this toolset better. Works with Grasshopper for Rhino 5, Rhino 6, and Rhino Mac. Pufferfish is written in C# as a .gha file.</description>

            by Michael Pryor A component that rounds a number(x) to the nearest number in a user defined list(y).

Round To Nearest also has an option to remap number(x) to the domain of the number list(y) in case number(x) is too far outside of the number list(y) domain. The remapping is good for attractor distance data which generally results in high numbers that need to be scaled down by division. Round To Nearest takes data sets with large degrees of variety in numbers and rounds them to specified user defined values. The component will go into the Maths &gt; Util tab.

The curves flow along the surface between divisions no matter how low the UV division count, rather than connecting straight from point to point. Some interesting deformed nets can be achieved by deforming the input surfaces UV&#039;s via pulling the surface control points around. The net works on both open and closed surfaces and can be flipped in direction along the surface with the flip input. The component will go into the Curve &gt; Spline tab.

Pinch&#039;n&#039;Spread pinches or spreads points based on their radial distance to location points. Each distance point can be assigned its own radial search distance, strength, and if the location point will cause pinching or spreading (positive strengths pinch, negative strengths spread). Additionally, there is an input for optional anchor points that are specified points from the list of point to be pinched or spread. These anchor points will not be effected by pinching or spreading.
