Thanks Hardik, I asked this as Geometry Gym offers a way to intersect any curves and get cells from this which is very convenient, I also wrote a script with a friend to get cells from intersecting curves http://arthurmani.com/?p=171 It's an interesting topic as you can do irregular grid with it! I dont know about tht, as i used the version which is two years old. Also, I did the surface first separately in rhino and in grasshopper created a hexagonal mesh on the surface. then selected the weaving pattern to created the expression of the surface relating it to the ones that the local craftsmen use before doing attractors to play with the light quality and get variations and flow along the surface. The weaving defintion is not very refined but more of extrusion to explain quickly to the traditional people who would do this manually!
