is it possible to solve the problem with the size of cells? how to make them equal length?
the edge lengths are made approximately equal by remeshing, using a script similar to the one I posted here
Brilliant! Time to revisit the Stanford Bunny?
Will - yes, this new method using the normals to project instead of just closest point does seem to make a big difference :)
For those that missed the earlier conversation, this is what tended to happen before:
It's still not perfect - strange things can happen when the edge length gets too large in relation to the feature sizes, but it's an improvement.
I'll post the updated script soon.
