Do you have a definition for the expanded metal? I've been trying to do something similar but cannot figure out hot to get that skin quality.

Hi Angel, thank you for posting. yes, your suppose is right. I cut the metal sheets by plasma, however for deformation I just pull only one load point on a metal sheet vertically with load experiment machine. 4 different results are coming from different load point on each.

Nice research! keep posting results! Which technics are you using to push the metal sheet? I supose that you cut it with sand/plasma/etc, and then use some kind of milled form to push the metal sheet to the correct deformation state.
