Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This one worked well. Here I am using a 1.25" bowl cutter style endmill and I am running it to a depth of .07" at an interval of 1.5".

yeah that's pretty much it. I ran the drill cycle on a given grid with a shaped endmill. I then flipped the sheet and drilled the other side using a grid which was transformed 1/2 the x y spacing of the grid. - thanks

Excuse me for a very beginners question. Is the process how I imagined? : You have made a grid and at each intersceting point you made a hole to a thick material after all holes have been made you turned the material to other side and you aligned the material and made the hole just by positioning the material to the unholed grids. Is it correct? Fascineting work..
