Hi,
well the process is pretty easy actually. You have a pointcloud in 2d and you triangulate it using delaunay. For each triangle resulted you find the center of the circumscribed circle and then you rise that center by a height dependent of the radius. You derive that height from pitagora where you know the lenght of two sides of the vertical triangle (one of the sides is your given bar-lenght which will be a constant). You triangulate the new layer of points using the same delaunay and there's your top surface. Hope it was helpful.

Hi How are you?
I am interested in your model and I'm wondering how did you do it?
I am new to grasshopper and hoping that I could get some pointers from you for building same lenght bars and the resulting surface .
