I thought it was related, cylinders - cycles. Must be my apophenia kicking in.

It has seem to me in the past that V-Ray has gone out of his way to avoid the RDK as much as possible. I doubt they get the meshes from the RDK. Hope they change that on future versions and gets better integration with Rhino.

Cycles isn't running yet in my Rhino6 debug build. Eventually every RDK based render engine should be able to use these meshes; Brazil, Neon, ... I don't know about Maxwell or V-Ray, do they get their render meshes from the RDK?
