algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Builds a curtainwall based on single or multiple curves. Working on making it return structural data(deflections, stresses), and fabrication/installation time information. Returns material cost totals based on an input unit cost per in^3 of material. Next would be returning a material cut list with qty., size, & length of each member with label location.

Sweet Thanks! I was on the right track but I wasn't working with expressions just dividing the curves, offsetting, and extruding to the normal of the form. Ill upload a pic when I am finished with it!

See what you can do with it . . . the horizontals are not aligned with a face I think, but can be moved with a couple components.

Framing01

I think try right click & save-as.

Let me know what you can make of it . . .

Cheers!

Hey, I am an architecture student, I am in process of modeling my curtain wall, and your definition looks like it would be super useful, if I could see the widgets. Have you shared the definition or could you post some pngs so I could take a closer look? It would be super helpful.

Thanks

Kai
