alessandro, i got a little bit confused, where exactly you are starting with the rectangle?

of course :)
I'll try to explain my strategy semplyfing some passages.
For first step I worked in xy coordinates creating a rectangle 1x1 and a circle inside it. I create a loft surface (in reality it is composed by four different surfaces) and I used "SDivide" for sample the points of a radial grid.
In second step I use xy-coordinates of my new radial grid for recreate my loft surface in UV-coordinates of input-surfaces. Now I have a new surface like starting one, but with a hole in the middle (it is better to allign before this hole with point (XY) resulting from the intersection with the curve) .
In third step I find the sub-curve that connect two surfaces. I create two pipe along this curve from limit points to middle one.
At last I progressively aligned points of surfaces (with hole) to points of pipes.
I hope my explanation is clear, if not I'll try to explain some steps better :P
