I know you were just using the attached photo, just I was puzzled the first time I saw the photo.
And again this time.
But I guess the purpose of this upload is to show the results, not the initial data.
So my apologies for disturbance.

This is interesting.

Either way it's incorrect - the red colour can never be the most populated area (Oregon and Idaho).
On the other hand neither the blue could - as it shows far north of Minnesota, Wisconsin and west Texas to be the one of the most populated areas of US.
