This urban project was created entirely with Grasshopper and treated the old town area of ​​Kadhimiya in Baghdad. Cultural, climatic and formal parameters affect the structure.

In the first step, I have divided the area into fields, with polylines which are adapted to the surrounding area.
Next, I defined centers / places. After that the fields were sorted into 3 different categories. For Example the centers influences only the fields nearby. The fields south of the centers are used for shading, so they are higher.
The aim has been to achieve a heterogeneous urban structure.
I'll upload soon more details. :-)

how did you implement the Grasshopper abilities for creating this urban project?

You measured the density, solar irradiance or what?
