Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I did a database of connection components using linq to xml and vb.net. I iterate through my main grasshopper folder to register the connections of those documents. 540 files, are included sample files of pluggins, downloaded on the forum, my files, junk files... This chart shows only the frequency of the 50 most used components in that register/database, displayed with HumanIU.

It's curious. First, because the VB Script component does not appear, I think it would not be equal if I just iterate in my gh files (anyway it is at position 76), but above all the use of MeshMachine and Kangaroo, just did not expect it, but not surprised ;).

hha thanks Nik!

But to be honest phyllomachine and T-Splines are very different things to compare! If I'm not mistaken, T-Splines is a mathematical representation such as NURBS, and phyllomachine (in its emerging idea) is a particular point placement (phyllotaxis) which can be sewn in mesh using sequences of two fibonacci numbers. It is so simple that I still do not understand why it works. geometric coincidence? Phy and its spatial optimization?

@Siemen, if they have different guids yes, otherwise they are treated as the same component.

Does it also count outdated components such as random lolcats?
