algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Threads_OSP

Threads researches material-based protocols through a cross-platform examination of system path optimization. Based in a history of material practice (Frei Otto's form finding experiments and Antonio Gaudi's catenary arches), these threads oscillate between analog and digital models of specific design thresholds with resulting optimizations and connective strategies analyzed for proto-architectural potentials.

Brendon, Thank you for the comments. The research was conducted in multiple environments including: Grasshopper, Maya, and Processing. Each platform offered something unique, so we delved into all three. If you would like to see some more current research developed using Kangaroo follow this link.
