Generative Algorithm for Cube Houses

Case study looking at a possible way to structure architect's Piet Blom's 1984 Cube Houses in Rotterdam. It uses generative design to optimize solar radiation on the surfaces of the buildings. The resultant mass appears as a forest, each elevated house representing a tree.
