Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This tower was analyzed to achieve good values of direct solar irradiation. The model was build within Grasshopper, to achieve a good level of manipulation and set the constrains parameters (fixed slabs, fixed base, rotative walls and dimensioning). With GECO plug-in the geometry was then exported to Ecotect for the irradiation analysis.

Hi Djordje!
Let's say that the final shape is better if compared with the "straight" one, I've not used Galapagos to achieve the best solution at all, so it's not the best one over a variety of possibility, but just within these options!

Hi Matteo,
This looks very interesting.
The final shape of the tower is the shape that gains the most solar radiation?
