Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This may be quite familiar, but I found it interesting to find a solution in Grasshopper. I constraint the lengths of the sticks to 10 different values between 3 and 10m.

This is what I was looking for! I found tutorial on random crossing in flat surface but can’t find any in volume like this. Could you teach me how? Could I peak in to the script?

Ilija, super cool, any chance the definition is available anywhere? I have a school project for which this may be a great foundation.  Let me know.  Thanks and again, very elegant.

Thank you for your comment. A similar installation exists in the Tape Club in Berlin, which inspired me to create a computational approach for a random fuzz structure.

This geometry is entirely generated in GH as anyways I try to avoid using scripting components.

Ilija that's super! it looks to have some really interesting porosity, structure and spatial potential! What was your process....I'm guessing it was a script based approach?
