Hexagonally symmetric pattern based on tiling a primitive triangular heightfield. Colors layers are determined by height above the z axis. For example - remapped from 0 to 1: 0 to .1 is red,.1 to .2 is black,.2 to .4 white, .4 to .55 again is black and .55 to 1 gold.
