modeling-have been using Autocad for years. Have taken 20+ GH tutorials and am attempting to learn how to think parametrically. I ask this question because this geometry is essential to everything I am doing now. Any input or direction is greatly appreciated. Old dog, new tricks. Thanks, David…
t case point 3 should be able to move from 20 to 33
so in other word
pt 3 depends on pt 2
the problem is if i only have sliders
pt2 could be 20
and pt 3 could be 20, that is higher than 33
so the loft loops in itself

u input 1 to the Addition component?
What if I don't have u and v variables but have only x, y, and z variables like in a Schwarz IsoSurface:
-(cos(x)+cos(y)+cos(z))
where x: -4 to 4,
y: -4 to 4,
z: -4 to 4.
Thanks in advance.

I want to map existing values of 4 qualities on specific site points then I want to be able to adjust them according to predefined relations (if A>10, 10<B<20).

7,8. It would plot on the line of the 20%, 20%, 70%, 80% of the length of the line. I'm not looking for a way to divide the curve by 2 and then by 2,not steps. So I would have two points at 20%. I hope this is clear.
Thanks,

allows you to select every third item between 34 and 55 (for example)... or any other set of branches based on any path mask.
If i only need 2 branches its no big deal (might as well hand/hard code it), but if i need 20 branches out of 300 that are each 7 apart, it saves some math and typing...…

In addition to the components in the attached file, I have also tried using Cull Index but that did not do much. I tried using a number slider set to whole numbers with the range equal to the values I have set up in the integer, but it just increases the size by 1 every time. Any help on steps in the right direction would be great thanks.…
