3. All releases of Rhino 5, Arduino, GH, and FF are the latest as of May 21st.
I Boolean toggled the port open, but I can't seem to get any output to display from the UnoRead component. I was hoping to see values from any of the analog inputs (APin5 depicted) connected as info gets sent back and forth between the Arduino and my comp. I'm getting simultaneous "Hooray" and "Whoops" messages, and I can't pinpoint why. See attached JPG.
Does it have to do with the fact that I have a list of COM ports? Even though I know COM 3 is the correct one as defined in the IDE, do I need to re-declare it in Grasshopper as well? Does the {0} shown impact this output?
Any direction is appreciated.
Thanks - JFig

Hi all
It seems the site you're looking for http://tent.k3-cottage.com/
The system K3-Tent can model any minimal surface very easy. See the sample below. It takes for me about 5 minutes to model

run FireflyUnoFirmata script in Arduino, it indicates that Arduino is connected with Com Port 5, and consequently there is no relationship yet between the Firefly script and Arduino.
Perhaps this goes back the installation of Arduino driver. I followed all the steps listed in http://arduino.cc/en/Guide/Windows. However, firstly I do not see the ArduionUno Driver listed under Ports (COM & Lpt), instead the new driver after I plug ARduino in my computer, is named "Communications Port (COM5). When I right click at COM 5 to update the driver according to the instructions, I cannot select the ArduinoUNO.inf file located in the drivers folder. I cannot see this file, only the FTDI USB Drivers" sub-directory.
Could you please help me with this?
I have a Uno R2 board.
Please, let me know,

I tried to fix the COM with visual studio by updating the references but no luck.

Have there been any work on this ?
Thank you,

When used in x86 rhino 5 it works fine. Is it just me or that component was designed for use with Rhino x86 only in the first place?
Also, it doesn't seem to be reading GIS attribute data with geometries. Is there a way to read attributes too? (like what Finches component does? - http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/localcodecomponents/forum/topics/finches-import-shp-file-component?commentId=2985220%3AComment%3A847205&xg_source=msg_com_gr_forum)…
