@Nik : reaction diffusion has still potential, for example transforming the 2d values in curves network. It could be done with crest and valley finding.At the moment I didn't manage to do it.
For the maze they are some potentials still available:
Using ngon mesh, for example dual mesh, I looked at that but I didn't decide which code use, Turtle, Plankton, new mesh in Rhino 6 (SDK not available?) or mine. It will be interesting because instead of 2/3 directions possible it will be possible to have 4/5 choices.
Tweak random in recursive backtracking in order to have biased maze, possibilities are huge. I just don't know if they will be beautiful?
