How do you dramatically increase the number of identical panels within a freeform structure?

SmartCluterting is an advance panelling tool that reduces the amount of unique panels. In the example above the entire façade has been clustered into ten unique panels.Continue

Hi Martin,

I am waiting for your approval on Smart Solutions Network. I wanted to become a member as I would like to test the component for my master's thesis. Specifically, I am very interested in the nodes clustering tool. I also have one question, do the bars loose their straightness after performing the clustering?

Thanks in advance!

Ignacio

Thanks Martin, no problem!

Hi Stef,

You are now verified on SSN. Apologies for the delay, as mentioned we are verifying manually to combat spam accounts.

Hi Martin,

I have the same issue as Jeg and am waiting for my registration to be approved. Because I couldn't find a way to contact you on the SSN website (Í cannot put comments there until my application has been approved) I decided to contact you this way.

Could you please let me know when my registration will be verified? Thanks in advance!

Stef

Hi Jeg,

You should have been verified on SSN, we are currently verifying users manually to combat spam accounts.

For issues regarding SmartMove please ask on the SSN site.

FYI we will be releasing a much updated version very soon

Hi, I'm interested in trialing your SmartMove plugin for GH.

I've registered on your website - http://www.smart-solutions-network.com/group/smartmove - and am awaiting verification to be able to download the plugin.

I'm just emailing to check whether there's anything else I can/should be doing, and to get an idea how long that verification will take.

Thanks,

~Jeg Dudley

Thanks for the great plug in. I am using it to analyse 100 meshes, I turn them into smart meshes and pass them to the analyzer but only one mesh gets colored? The data is passing through the component because when I turn the smart meshes back to regular meshes they are all shown in preview again... any thoughts? Thanks again.

Hi Juan,

What exactly is the problem you are trying to fix?

Do you mean the 'pinching' condition that has been marked is the problem as you want the diamonds to be uniform throughout?

The boundary of your geometry has a dramatic change and will effect the resulting uv divison. SmartForm will not change the topology of your division.

To get a more uniform look consider creating the diamond pattern with some more regular geometry and then using the outline of you current geometry a a 'cookie-cutter'

Hi all, I'm trying to fix with SmartForm a diamond panel UV subdivision I did using Lunchbox. I'm new to SmartForm since someone suggested on a different post I did that this would be a way of doing it. Here's a screenshot. Any ideas? Thanks!
