So as stated in the title when the boundary domain is a box the solver runs fine but unless this is the case any other domain fails... i am being careful with my units and also tried different resolutions and isovalues as well as every other input. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? this is a simple example i am trying before jumping to more complex boundary shapes. thank you in advance.

Hi all,

I am trying to use the reparameterization component to get the iso-curves that follow a given vector field over a surface.

I would like to select only the curves "parallel" to the vector field and not the orthogonal ones.

Hi there,

I've been playing with millipede for the past weeks and i have encountered a problem with grasshopper native geometry.

The 2d Solver won't work with the shapes I have created inside grasshopper.

Though after i bake the same shapes and refer them inside it is working just fine.

That's a big problem for me because i want to connect the parametric shape to Galapagos afterwords.

and...

Thank you so…

I am trying to run some 2D topology optimisation and I am having some doubts about the target density. My input is a slider that varies from 0 to 1, however, changing the value of the slider does not really affect the end result. How can I define how much percentage of the area I want to keep and how much can be optimised?

Hi everybody!!

I have just downloaded and installed millipede but it doesn´t work. I am using Rhino5 64 and grasshopper 0.9.0061. When I start grasshopper, the program seems to load millipede, but when it is open, I cannot see the millipede plug-in.

Any idea?

Hello,

I was wondering if there is any possibility to add a material definition to the 3D topology optimization. While other programs force me to pick a certain material, millipede doesn't.

Loads are applied in N/m^2, but shouldn't the load refer to a certain material?

Maybe someone can help me with that or clear this up for me.

Don't get me wrong, results are great. I'd just like to know if I missed something.

Thanks.
