algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey everyone,

I am having some errors on my simulation.

It’s a single room starting with surfaces --> zone --> decomposed zone to add material properties --> back into one zone. I know it can be done easier, but later on the geometry will change and therefore this seems the better option. But coming back to the problem

First, there were some problems concerning the zone, although it seems solved still the “runenergysimulation” gives the following warning:

1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:

   ** Severe  ** UpdateZoneSizing: Cooling supply air temperature (calculated) within 2C of zone temperature

Do one of you know what went wrong? It probably will solve most of it.

Second, “set Zone Thresholds”  gives the following warning:

1. Solution exception:global name 'maxHumidity_' is not defined

However, the component is missing the max humidity input on the list, has this to do something with the error?

All the components are up to date.

I hope it will be an easy fix.

Your error was to connect your OccupancySchedule to the cooling/heatingSetPtSchedules inputs in the HB_setEPZoneSchedules component. This schedules is just 1's and 0's, while you need to input temperature values. I disconnected those inputs and now it runs fine (don't know about the results quality, but it runs).

As for the HB_setZoneThresholds you needed to reinsert the component since the input items changed. Chris recently added the option to set humidity conditions.

So it is also working now. See attached.

I set the lighting simulation to false and the automatic update too (it is really annoying for me having to wait for that).

Sorry for keeping everything on True. No idea what happend with the HB_setZoneThresholds, i reinsert it several times but without the humidity conditions.

I really wanna thank you, the results also look much better now, I think it solved!!
