algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Layer and zones are not shown in Chris Mackey's and background is also not white

Hi All,

I opened Chris Macey's first example file but I cant make the rhino background white and layers and zones are also not showing the way chris showed in his example.It is shown that layers are in default mode.Can anybody please tell me how to solve this problem.
