Mahdi,
There are two ways of doing this depending on how particular your window geoemtry is. The quicker way with less control over the geometry is this:
5 - Honeybee Energy Modeling - HBZones From Masse…: https://youtu.be/3rCgP0zSiPY
The slower way with complete control over the geometry is this:
13 - Honeybee Energy Modeling - Creating Zones fr…: https://youtu.be/Md6LFS6cwc0
Hope this helps,
-Chris

Thank you very much Chris .The second video is my answer.

Best regards

I try to do like video ,but is conditioned is still none after connect toggle to Hbzone

Mahdi,

Your boolean is false in the file. If you want the space to be conditioned you need to set it to true.

Abraham,

thank for your reply but, according to the video it must be false. The picture that i have attached is in video not my process.

regards

I may be missing something. The question was related to defining windows. Chris's answer is the way to go. The"is_conditioned" affects the E+ calculations (with ideal mechanical systems or no mechanical system). This is no related to the windows issue.

... or i'm misunderstanding something?

Abraham,

The"is_conditioned" is one of stages in video(13 - Honeybee Energy Modeling - Creating Zones from Surfaces Part 2- AddHBGlz) .My problem is , after connect toggle to hbzone the label in viewport must change to false but in my process don`t change (none to false), duo to Eplus can`t run.I dont know what the problem is.

O k e y?

So you better upload your file, then we can check what is going on.

Thank you Abraham

Mahdi,

Basically your file was "almost" fine.

But:

You were missing both LB_LB and HB_HB components. Also i updated the file. Your definitions were pretty old. Also the HB_createHBZones the HB_Surfaces input wasn't flattened for some reason.

And the last thing after that the zone was recognized as OpenBrep. I change the tolerance in Rhino to 0.001 and reloaded the file. That fixed the issue and te zone is closed now.

See attached a working version.

And now a working file (is_conditioned). Forgot to update another component.
