Hello, I have a question about the principal stress direction analysis result from karamba.

The first principal stress direction (PSD) is usually defined as the direction of the largest principal stress. But why in Karamba, some of the 2nd PSDs are larger than that of the first one of the same piece mesh?

the first principal stress is the largest, the second principal stress the smallest of all possible directions. The absolute value of the smallest stress can however be larger than the absolute value of the largest. The length of the vectors represents the absolute values.
