algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi to all,

I've a shell, represented by a surface, connected to some beams,as a lines, in a specific places. I want that the end node of a beam become coincident to a mesh node of the shell. The problem is that I can't skip the problem passing  brep and coincident points to "MeshBrep" component because I'm working with a small object model(10x10x50mm), so the minimum "MRes" input (0.05m) that drive the dimension of the mesh is too big.

Someone has an idea on how to get the mesh of a surface that passes throught some specified points that belong to the surface?

thans a lot

hi,

i dont really know what the restricted resolution is about, but ive had the problem too. you can scale your geometry up 1000x, then do the meshing, then rescale it.

also millipede has a pretty good mesher, maybe it is not restricted.

or you do it manually, by populating your surfaces with the points necessary, unroll the uv-space to a plane, and do a delaunay.

best,

Rob

I tried to scale the geometriy, mesh and re-sale and works fine, thanks a lot

best,

Flavio
