algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi!

I've beam and shell model, I analyzed it, but when I put the analyzed model into the "utilization" component I'm not able to distinguish the utilization of shell instead of beam element because the output of the utilizzation component is a long list referred to all the elements(shell and beam) analyzed by the component.

Is there a way to get only a part of resolution concerned with the beam and put it into the "utlization" component?

Maybe is it possible, by using label, distinguish between beam and shell utilization in the output list of "utilization" component?

thanks

I thought that I can perform the calculation of the beam utilizations, in a similar way to that performed in the code descript in appendix A.6 of karamba manual, by scripting a little bit. Using the "B-force" component on the data come from the "analyze", I can get the nodal forces (N,My,Mz,Mt,Vy,vZ) of every beam element and compare these with the corrispondent design resistance(Nrd,Myrd,......Vzrd). Now I need some explanation on the calculation of Vyrd, Vzrd, Mtrd described in the appendix :
Could someone explain me the formulation of Ay,Az,Wt used to calculate Vyrd, Vzrd, Mtrd?
I know that they are section proprieties, but i dont know how defined is in karamba.

thanks in advance
