algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Its a beam structure, with tension cable in the back and released joints and a gravity force in the top. I was hopeing to archive a bending effect from the, strictching cable but only getting an error.

I am getting closer to a a result, think its a tweek with the right steps. Now i have points moving, but i still cannot get any lines Connection between them.

 

PS: only look at the kangaroo part, the rest is for something els

I fixed the Kangaroo part of the model for you.

- I exploded the polylines so that Kangaroo sees each of the line segments separately

- I put it through a line component before the geometry input which seemed to keep the geometry output happy

- I added some extra spring components for the members that were not included

- I changed the timer to 10ms

 

The main thing you need is diagonals! It falls over because you have no way of carrying shear in the trusses. I'll leave that to you to fix.

It got abit super complex, for no resoon.

hmm, me models seems to keep brake down, cant get this one to wrok either. tried to make it as yours setup.
