Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello.

Have the same geometry obtained by different way.

Solutions are different. Why?

Example 1: PullToSurf points from curves.gh.The correct solution.

Example 2: PullToSurf points from mash.gh. Not correct solution.

Example 3: PullToSurf points from mash disable.gh. (If disable any two of the three blocks) The solution is correct.

Thank you.

Hi Denis,

In your Example2 try switching on the option to Flatten the force objects input - then it works.

Because there are separate data paths, Kangaroo is trying to run multiple simulations, but they are interfering, as I was discussing recently here:

Personally I don't like the way that in grasshopper several wires going into an input can sometimes result in multiple branches, even though none of the inputs apparently have branch structures, or dashed lines to indicate this, precisely because of the confusion it can cause in examples like this.
