Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi at all,

I installed the latest version of Kangaroo, Grasshopper and Weaverbird.
But every time I try to open an Kangaroo-Example, like the attached one, I got these messages:

Message log start (chronological):
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Plugin version: 0.8.0066

Archive file written with older version: 0.7.0057

Component KangarooPhysics {0db23e16-f91a-4105-3067-8d7ab0c60e4f} failed to deserialize itself: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt.

Object list read

The file opens, but without the Kangaroo PhysicsComponent.

Whats wrong?
Thx,

Do you have both the .gha and the .dll in your components folder, and both unblocked ?

Yes, both in the Special Folder-> Component and unblocked.

Michael - I just had a look at the file you attached - this is a very old example definition, and not compatible with current versions of Kangaroo. (at some point - I think over 2 years ago - I changed a lot of the inputs)

Where did you download this file, so I can change the link ?

I think most of the files linked to from the examples page of the kangaroo group on this site are up to date and compatible with the current version, but I do need to check that.

Hi Daniel,

thx you for your response, I thought I did something wrong..
I don't know where I found that file, I was looking for, how to implement a hanging cloth with kangaroo and found that file somewhere.
