Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi daniel I'm trying to compare the results I get with a code in Python made andKangaroo.

Use the example of the orbits but I can not put a correct value "Plaw"
that I am entering wrong values?

It looks like the orbiting planet has too much momentum, and is shooting off in an almost straight line. So either reduce the initial velocity or the masses (it seems to need changing by a factor of around 10^9. What units are you using for mass, distance, velocity and force ?)

Also you'll probably want the drag set to zero, and it looks like in your Python script you fix the larger body in place, so you might want to anchor it in Kangaroo to reproduce this.

This kind of thing is an interesting way of comparing integration methods and whether they remove or add energy to the system.
