Mesh Hinge Angle Constraint?

Hello everyone!

I'm working on the starshade origami pattern and want to refine one last thing.

I've set the hinge angles for the mountain and (-ve) valley folds (See pic 1) but I want to constrain the angles of the rest of the edges. (See pic 2)

I want to do this so that they don't flap around almost like fabric when unfurled. 

The issue is, I cannot set a range of angles to stay within because the hinge component requires one rest angle.

I attached a screenshot of the patch, showing the mountain and valley hinges, in the 3rd pic.
