algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I intended to create equal triangles distribution (like diagrid) on non-planar surface with Kangaroo.

I've been tried it with paneling plugins, but it's not worked for nonplanar surface. It gave me triangles with different angle.

I want to search point positions on curves parameter based on fixed angle, like in this picture:

I've done some Kangaroo simulation with CurvePull and Bend Component, but it's not worked, I think there's something wrong with my definition. Any idea?

I attached current GH file (K1.gh)

If you have another solutions/methods for this problem, please tell me.

Thanks

EDIT :

I tried with circle packing to distributed points for diagrid structure on nonplanar surface. But some circle aren't evenly distributed and I'm not sure this method can produce diagrid structure nicely.

How to manage each circles for evenly distribute?

Any ideas for more effective diagrid/triangle distribution on nonplanar surface?

I attached circle packing solution file (K2.gh)

Thanks again

Hi Heinrich,

Thanks for your respond, I'm sorry if my description isn't clear.

I intended to produce diagrid structure on the surface in K2.gh, but the diagrid structure must be evenly distributed and each unit of diagrid must have same angle.

I've difficulty to produce it, since the surface isn't symmetrical. the diagrid that I've produce is skewed and not evenly distributed.

I hope you can share me a solution for this problem.

Thanks
