algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

 

Recently I started to use kangaroo and I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the sag of the mesh as restriction for the form finding of the catenary.

So, to define the maximum deflection/height of the catenary to start the process.

 

I played a bit with the damping, rest length, floor and force, but this didn’t lead to a consistent outcome.
