algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Are there examples of deep-tech companies trying to make complex industrial equipment cheaper through mass production? I’m researching business models in which sophisticated machinery is standardised and manufactured in factories instead of being custom-built for every project. Interested in green energy of the newest era.

For me, the real test of industrial mass production is whether a company can repeat the same design without turning every new installation into a custom engineering project. That is particularly difficult with energy equipment, where safety requirements and local conditions can complicate standardisation. One example I've been studying is the molten salt reactor by Copenhagen Atomics some time ago. The company is trying to develop compact reactor modules that can be manufactured in series rather than built from scratch at every site. It is an interesting business model, although nuclear licensing and the cost of the supporting infrastructure still matter enormously. In your view, what is the better way to make complex green technology cheaper, simplify the product itself or invest in a factory process that can produce the same design reliably?
