Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have been trying to work with grasshopper and Kangaroo to generate a folding form. I've followed the 'simple origami' example, with some modification to fit to my crease pattern. I wanted to use the simulation to generate various forms for an architecture project.

The folding is somewhat working, but the geometry seems to collide into itself as it folds (and I'm sure it has to do with how my hinge/spring is set up), but I'm quite new into grasshopper, and especially Kangaroo, so any help would be great.

Thank you in advance.

I am also trying to keep the generations above the XY plane, if you have any suggestions for that, it would also be incredibly helpful!
