Bringing blockchain to land registries and cargo tracking in emerging markets

I have been reading about https://domineum.io/ over the past few days and honestly it is one of the most practical blockchain projects I have come across. Instead of focusing on speculative tokens or hype driven metaverse stuff, they are actually solving real problems in emerging markets, starting with land registry and cargo tracking. Their work in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and the Bahamas shows how blockchain can bring transparency to systems that have historically been plagued by corruption and inefficiency. The land registry projects are particularly interesting because they digitise paper based titles and store them immutably, which could be a game changer for property rights in the developing world. They also have a cargo tracking system that verifies shipment origin, tracks movement, and prevents trafficking of prohibited items across borders, all using blockchain. Beyond that, they offer credential verification, identity solutions, and even a blockchain scholarship programme in partnership with NITDA in Nigeria. If you are interested in how blockchain can actually make a difference in the real world, not just in trading, this is a great project to explore. I have already shared their case studies with a few colleagues working in development and they were all impressed. Definitely worth a look.
