Hi! I have been trying to use Terrain Generator for a few hours now without results. I replaced all user objects with the last version, read about the API key update, got mine and it still gives me this message. I haven't found this precise one about the "APIkey is incorrect" on the forum, please refer me if it has been solved before.

1. This component requires topography data to be downloaded from opentopography.org as a prerequisite for creating a terrain. It has just failed to do that. Try the following three fixes:

1) '_APIkey' is incorrect:
Go to the following link: https://portal.opentopography.org/lidarAuthorizationInfo
and download the video tutorial on how to obtain a valid APIkey:
https://github.com/stgeorges/gismo/blob/master/resources/tutorials/Get_OpenTopo_APIkey.mp4

2) Sometimes due to large number of requests, the component fails to download the topography data even if opentopography.org website and their services are up and running.
In this case, wait a couple of seconds and try reruning the component.

3) opentopography.org website could be up and running, but their terrain service (RESTful Web service) may be down (this already happened before).
Try again in a couple of hours.

If each of two mentioned advices fails, open a new topic about this issue on: www.grasshopper3d.com/group/gismo/forum.
Estimate tree's CO2 sequestering with Gismotag:www.grasshopper3d.com,2023-02-26:2985220:Topic:22815632023-02-26T22:47:14.266Zdjordjehttps://www.grasshopper3d.com/profile/djordje

All the 2D OSM shapes and 3D terrain load just fine, but it breaks when attempting to run OSM3D. If any of you have any ideas of a fix, I'd really appreciate it. I'm not exactly sure what is going wrong.

The same script runs just fine at a different set of coordinates. The site I am trying to construct is in urban Copenhagen, maybe something about OSM's data there is the problem. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide!
error in LB- EnviMet building terraintag:www.grasshopper3d.com,2022-05-20:2985220:Topic:22462612022-05-20T01:06:10.680ZPatricia Edith Camporealehttps://www.grasshopper3d.com/profile/PatriciaEdithCamporeale

Hi all,

I've been experiencing issues with the Gismo_Terrain Generator (TerrainGenerator) Component. It's failing to gather the terrain data from opentopography.org. It seems that this may be an issue on the component side or the REST services side of opentopography. Any insight on the issues in this component?
