Great Simon, I don't know why I haven't come across your blog before but I definitely think there is a great value to explanations prepared by users other than myself.  Thanks for this.

I've started on a grasshopper definition for the IFC BIM components, attached is the work in progress.

One of the reasons I've hesitated a lot with a manual/wiki is that the tools have evolved a lot during development.

Which plugin and aspects are you finding the most confusing (and look the most promising to use)?  This can help me with prioritizing the help and posting specific examples.  Note you can also filter my blog for topics using the tag cloud on the right hand side of the page.
