Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I’ve used coil and rotary setups before, and they each had their pros and cons. But ever since I moved over to the avenger 3, I feel like I finally got the best of both worlds. It’s got the punch I need for bold linework and the sensitivity to do slow, soft whip shading. I do mostly large-scale pieces and realism portraits, and this machine is adaptable to every stage of the tattoo – from outlining to soft color transitions. I also like that it’s built solid, no cheap materials or annoying buzzing. You can tell it was made by people who know what artists really need.
