weird baking problem

The geometry is invalid, that's why it doesn't bake. You can use the [Null Item] component to test for validity, and it will even output some text that 'explains' why Rhino thinks a shape is invalid. I'm trying to find out where the problem is in your file.

There's two problems with your file:

1. When you weave star shaped polylines, you end up duplicating a segment. I added a Cull Index component to your file with indices -1 and -2, effectively removing the last two points and properly closing the polylines.
2. The Sweep is generating weird results, I switched to Loft.
