Sort Along Curve

Hi,

I have recently been using the Sort Along Curve component in quite a few definitions.

Yesterday after reinstalling GH, I have noticed that all definitions using this component wouldn't work. I can have them to work by replacing AlongCrv with the Sort Pt component instead, which is fine, but this has some limitations and I was just wondering what could be the reason for this behaviour change, or maybe I am simply doing something wrong.

If anyone could have a look and let me know what's wrong with this definition, that would be much appreciated.

I have attached the sample files for your reference.

I am on Rhino 4.0 SR9 with GH Version Sept-28 0.9.0014.

Hi A,

SortAlongCurve is busted. I already fixed it but it will be a few days at minimum (probably a bit more) until I can release again. In the meantime you can use Curve CP and then sort the curve parameters with the points. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Sorting the curve parameters works fine, but I've got more than 40 instances of the component over 8 definitions, so in the meantime I've found the previous installation which works fine, and I look forward to your next release.
