algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I generated a grid of diamonds for scaling. But the problem is that they all pointed on one direction which makes the pattern boring. How can I rotate them along a curve?

I tried to make a vector between an end point and the center point and then rotate the vector to the tangent of the curve. But the result is wrong.

Anyone knows how to solve that?

Thanks a lot!

Regards,

Dora

Longer curves need more divisions in V - a higher 'V Count':

Clean, partitioned lists of diamond curves without duplicate lines.

Dusted off this gem and made cosmetic updates to better show the grid data structure of the geometry, both the "Grid Panels" from 'Isotrim (SubSrf)' and the diamond curves derived from each panel/SubSrf.
