algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Read File component very slow

The file is a .csv, 495 bytes on a network drive. It takes four minutes to read it, even in a new gh def.

 

If the file is local it takes 3ms.

 

I have no problem reading from (and writing to) the network file with other apps.

I also changed the path to the file from a mapped drive letter to a UNC path. Same long read time.

 

This seems related to the posts regarding the slow GH load times when the Recent Files list is enabled. When I set the number of recent files to zero, GH loaded as quickly as expected.
