Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Area component doesn't seem to work because the nurbs curve doesn't appear closed. How can I fix it and most important - where is the problem?

Kind Regards and have a nice day!

An open curve does not form a region, so you can not calculate the area. If what you want is the center, you can solve it in many ways, such as dividing the curve at several points and calculate the average of all of them; or create two lines, one from 0 to 0.5, and the other line from 0.25 to 0.75 (where 0 to 1 is the curve domain), and the intersection between them approaches the center point (if the curve looks like a circle). You could also close the curve...
