Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

Excellent post from 8/4/2011 from danny boyes.

I have attached a definition to generate points that I aim to usie to generate an orthoganal grillage.

The skews, say S1 and S3 dominate the geometry and control not in GH but in the end analysis package.

S2 requires to be independent as the the number of longitudinal points are dictated to by a particular beam centre ie.segment length. wich will be indivisible to the overall span.

I have neen trying to grasp the path mapper, I have achieved my aim (well almost) in renumbering and resequencing the points.

However in trying tocontrol the number of longitudinal branches, i found that very difficult, eventually I fluked it with a graft on the points befor the path mapper.

Is this additional branch competely necessary if so why??

Addtionally can I automate the number of longitudinal points in this case 7 to any other number without re-entering in the path mapper.

Without the need of code?

All advice appreciated.
