Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I had to revive an old definition of mine. Generally, updating any components that say "old" on them earns a significant performance increase.

Sadly, the new evaluate and expression components are horribly slower than the old component.

This should not be.

See attached for example.

(As a side observation, I would imagine that expression computation would be significantly faster than it is. Is there something about GH getting in the way because our processors should number crunch this stuff almost instantly.)

Probably because the new one hasn't been optimized as much. I'll see what it is I forgot to do.

Added some optimizations and runtime is down to ~35% of what it used to be. It actually seems to be 1.5 to 2 times faster than the old component.

Sweet! Thank you.

Looking forward to the speed.
