<p>I'm not sure if it's just a lack of precision in the algorithm or not, but the component forces the curves to be planar. Hence the lack of vertex coincidence.</p>
<p>Do you need the polylines to be planar? I'd need to go revisit the algorithm. There were other implementations since I developed this that might be more accurate.</p>
