Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi. Good night.

I'm trying to create a group of "towers" using, Populate 2d as the center point of this towers. But i'm having some problem adjusting the data tree. I'm practically new on the software (Two weeks). The main problem is that i don't know where to flat or graft my definition where i have to connect the Populate 2D.

Could you be as kind as to tell me how to connect it properly?

Thanks in advance. Here are a couple of images.

I feel a little bit dumb, but i've spend two hours trying to make it work, but i couldn't.

Thanks again (Sorry for my english, it's been a while since i typed it or spoke it).

Hello

you want same copies of the first tower in the populate 2d points ?

Yup. That's what i want.

you need the vectors starting from your polygon bottom center point and going to the populate 2d points (vector 2 points). then plug your loft to the move component with the previous vectors.

Like the image (instead of spheres is your loft)

Thank you very much. It really helped me!.

Just one more thing. As you see in my definition i'm trying to divide my loft and morph its divisions with a geometry. Do you think it's possible connect my modified loft into "G" (input) of Move?

Pop 2D generates random points in a rectangle. Do you really need them?
If what you want is to have randomly distributed points on the ellipse and polygon to build a new one, with the Evaluate length. you give values to L as you want between 0 and 1 with the random component
